OUR PASTOR
Mitchell Lee Jones was Born and Raised, in Ashtabula, Ohio on January 12, 1963. Pastor Mitchell Jones grew up in a small town, and went to Peoples Missionary Baptist Church.
In October of 1988, Pastor Jones became a member of Miracle Temple Church Of God In Christ under the leadership of the Late Pastor Herman F. Fleming.
Since Becoming a Member of Miracle Temple, Elder Jones has served in many capacities including: YPWW President, Chairman Of Finances, and the Robert L. Chapman Memorial District President of YPWW.
For the Church Of God In Christ Ohio Northwest Jurisdiction, he has served as the State Financial Secretary, State Treasurer for YPWW, and the facilitator for the State Women's Convention. In 2009, he was appointed the Ohio Northwest AIM President.
Nationally, he served on the national finance team for the Youth Department under the leader-ship of Bishop J. Drew Sheard. He now currently serves as Co-Chairman of Vendors & Exhibits for the National AIM Convention under the leadership of AIM Chairman, Pastor Linwood Dillard.
In November 2003, Elder Jones gave his first message as Being Called to the Ministry. In August of 2005 he was ordained as an Elder in the Church Of God In Christ.
August 23, 2012- He Was appointed the Pastor of Miracle Temple Church Of God In Christ, & the Superintendent of the Robert L. Chapman Memorial District under the Authority and Leadership of Bishop Clifford L. Kimbrough, Ohio Northwest's Prelate.
Elder Jones has been employed with Firstmerit Bank for 20 Years where he is currently Branch Manager. He also obtained his license from the State Of Ohio Department of Insurance in March of 2002 for Accident and Health, Life, and Variable Annuities.
Pastor Jones and His wife Nancy, are the Proud Parents of two; Michael and Nate. They are also raising their Nephew and Niece, Antoin and Judy. As well had the priveledge to raise a Dominican Son, Te-Amo.

Miracle Temple is a spirit filled, spirit led church with an excitingly uplifting ministry. Led by Pastor Mitchell L. Jones, Miracle Temple is a growing, vibrant, and relevant inner city ministry where the power of God is evident, real and witness. Every service is filled with praise and worship and promises an unforgettable worship experience. Our pastor preaches and teaches the word of God in a manner that relates scriptures to present and past daily life conditions.
We believe To preach and teach the Word of God with love, through evangelism and Christian service within and beyond our community in an effort to holistically empower non-believers to seek the knowledge of Christ and believers to seek the full understanding of salvation. Come and Be blessed.
The Mission
We exist to assist each person we encounter to meet Christ, mature in Christ, and minister Christ to the world. Miracle Temple seeks to offer hope to everyone and maximize individual potential. We are particularly sensitive to the least, the lost, the lonely, and the forgotten. Our whole purpose is that Christ may be known, loved and lived.
